Delivered in partnership with Vantage Data Centres, this fast-paced project involved the full design and internal fit-out of a hyperscale data centre providing up to 55MW of IT capacity across six levels.
Middlesex carried out firestopping works within occupied units where existing fire stopping was exposed. This included providing and installing passive fire and acoustic stopping to all compartmentation lines, including walls, floors, risers, and service penetrations. Plus, fire sealing around all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic services was carried out using approved, tested systems to achieve the required fire resistance and acoustic performance.
In keeping with Middlesex’s quality and safety focus, installations complied with all relevant standards, approved details, and manufacturer’s instructions.
The power of the Middlesex group was leveraged in this project, with Middlesex Ltd delivering drylining and coordinating works from Middlesex Interior, Middlesex Carpentry and Middlesex Firestopping divisions, supporting efficient delivery within a highly controlled construction environment.
